Okay, so the title isn’t original.  They’re working on it, or so saith the folks behind what might well be a zombie short film series.

But should they even bother? Let’s take a look.

Basically, three guys from nowhere in particular find themselves wandering into an abandoned nuclear facility for no clear reason.  They discover that there’s a lot more than just random parts hidden inside it, though, as these three putzes managed to singlehandedly jumpstart a Zombie Apocalypse.

And they actually manage to do it in a fairly convincing fashion, especially for a short film on YouTube.  I actually found myself interested in what the second part was going to bring!  They had started fairly well, though they did gloss over plenty of exposition, they did manage to at least get me interested in Episode 2, and that’s saying something.

So for managing to keep my interest, Zombies Short Film Episode One takes home a seven out of ten.  Nicely done, fellas.
