The Hollywood Reporter sends word that Dirk Blackman and Howard McCain will adapt the Red 5 comic ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction for Benderspink.

Created by Underworld actor Kevin Grevioux, the series revolves around a government weapons program that drops photosensitive zombies into war zones at night to destroy the enemy population. However, when one of these zombies somehow escapes to the Middle East, an elite team of soldiers is sent to hostile territory to stop a growing zombie army.

Blackman and McCain are best known for Underworld: Rise of the Lycans and Outlander.
