Shock Till You Drop carries word that Wrong Turn 3 is officially in production, noting that casting has already begun. The site’s Fox rep has confirmed that Declan O’Brien is attached to direct. He most recently worked on Cyclops and Genesis Code for the Sci-Fi Channel. It is not known if he is writing the script for the third entry, too.

The original film was released back in 2003 and grossed an estimated $28 million worldwide. The sequel arrived in 2006 on DVD and became one of Fox’s most popular direct-to-DVD sequel.
