Writers’ Strikes Kills “Justice League of America”January 17th, 2008 in Action, Gossip, Movie News |
After several months of gossip and speculation, Warner Brothers has decided to put the much hyped movie, “Justice League of America” on hold indefinitely. JLA is thus one of the first major films in production to die at the hands of the writer’s strike.
Word of JLA’s death came from IESB, and was confirmed by both Variety and Hollywood Reporter today. According to a source, JLA is in limbo at least until the writers’ strike is over. The film hasn’t been completely cancelled yet, but the production team has decided to serve the crew with one week notices.
If you were hoping on seeing this film in theaters anytime soon, it’s really not likely to happen at this point.
