Sam Worthington will star in “Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins.” I guess working with James Cameron in “Avatar†made the connection to the “T†franchise. The fact the Australian actor was recommended to “T4†director McG by Cameron is a big deal to the franchise.
While the story twists and turns – all being kept under tight wraps, Worthington will play the role of Marcus, a central figure in a three-picture arc that begins after Skynet has destroyed much of humanity in a nuclear holocaust. A group of survivors led by John Connor (Christian Bale) resist keeping the machines from finishing the job.
