Ellen Page, who made her fame in the movie Juno, keeps the same comedic pace with Drew Barrymore in Whip it, Barrymore’s directorial debut film. If the movie is as funny as the trailer, then it’s girl’s night out and daddy gets to babysit the kids – this is one heck of a fun movie.
Page plays a young woman named Bliss, who is tired of being pushed into beauty pageants by her parents. On a journey of self discovery, Bliss joins a female roller derby team and finds her destiny. I just love their green uniforms. Don’t you?
