When Reality TV Relationships Go Wrong

Kristy Swanson filed assault charges on Sunday against the ex-wife of her former World Skating Champion and reality TV star boyfriend, Lloyd Eisler.Â Police took photographs of bruises on her back and other parts of her body to document the injuries Swanson claimed resulted from an altercation with Eisler’s ex-wife, Marcia O’Brien.Â The alledged event took place Friday in Canada.

But, oh, it gets better.Â You see, Swanson wasn’t the first one to file an assault charge.Â O’Brien beat her to the punch and filed one first.Â Swanson was arrested Saturday night for the alleged assault, and was released when she met bail in Kingston, Ontario.

Swanson’s rep said that Eisler and Swanson were in town to visit Eisler’s children, as well as to discuss custody issues with O’Brien.

Eisler, 44, and Swanson, 37, met last year while filming the FOX reality series, “Skating with Celebrities.”Â Swanson’s film credits include roles in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Eisler, 44, a former world champion pairs skater, and Swanson met in 2006 while filming the FOX reality series “Skating with Celebrities.” Eisler left his wife for Swanson, whose film credits include “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.”Â Â Eisler left his wife, O’Brien, for Swanson shortly after meeting her.
