Watchmen Trailer Blows You Away

Although the latest Watchmen trailer doesn’t give the whole storyline, it does tell you a little bit about the characters and tells you that someone wants to get rid of the superheroes to blow up the world.

Some angst is caked on with a love story while everything rivets on special effects of whomp ‘em, kick ‘em and blow ‘em finesse.  I hope Zack Snyder makes the movie that fans want to see — the trailer doesn’t show that yet. The graphic novel has a very strong following. I hate to see him miss the chance.

Everything I’ve read about this on other sites and from industry insiders says that Zack Snyder has really fought with the studio to make this a faithful adaptation.

Most who have seen footage (a few have even seen a rough cut, test screening) are excited just how true it is to the graphic novel. There’s only one major difference (the lack of a certain 5th dimensional being) and it was due to time restrictions and the desire to not lose a lot of crucial plot & character developement. But, even with this change, they have kept true to the story’s progression and essence of the ending is intact. Disappointing, maybe, but not disasterous.

So, I’m really looking forward to this…
Of course, “you can’t please all the people all the time.”

    Thanks for the trailer preview!
