Walton’s: The Movie Collection for the Whole Family

What I liked best about The Walton’s television show is each episode deals with honesty and integrity. They were family stories that my whole family watched every week.

And now Warner Bros. have packaged together six reunion movies of The Walton’s.  Most of the stories are set in the 1940s. The first reunion movie is A Wedding on Walton’s Mountain. We wonder if Erin will have a change of heart.

Mothers’ Day on Walton’s Mountain is number two. The story honors the person everyone turns to when crises arise. The third is A Day for Thanks on Walton’s Mountain. It’s one of my favorites with Robert Wightman as John-Boy.

Number four takes place in the 1960s and feature Richard Thomas as John-Boy. The title is A Walton Thanksgiving Reunion. An interesting look when our nation mourns the death of JFK.

Five is A Walton Wedding, a love story where John-boy faces no big-city Manhattan nuptials. That leaves us with another favorite of mine. A Walton Easter is a celebration of John and Olivia 40th Anniversary.

Six warm Walton memories are worth sharing if you like movies that are simple for the whole family to watch.
