The trades are reporting that Mark Wahlberg will star in the dark thriller Prisoners for Madhouse Entertainment.
Penned by Aaron Guzikowski, the film follows a Boston man who turns vigilante after six-year old daughter and her best friend are kidnapped. He takes matters into his own hands by kidnapping the man he suspects responsible.
The project now needs a director, and with the studio keen on releasing this soon, expect it to be in production shortly.
