Agree with the rest here. Recently saw this on blue-ray and regret not getting to see it on the big screen. One of the more underrated films from 2008.

Great review. I recently rented valkyrie on blu-ray dvd. There was an excellent 40 min doc on the historical background that answers some of the questions I had after watching the film. I would definitely recommend valkyrie and buying the dvd which has a lot of other good special features.
