The Devil Wears Prada author Lauren Weisberger’s best-seller Chasing Harry Winston has been picked up by Universal Pictures; it is being developed at Mandalay Pictures.
The story follows three women in New York – daughter of a supermodel, a rising star in the publishing business and a newly single female – who vow to change their lives for the better over the course of a year.
Unlike the book, the movie will focus and expand upon one of the three story lines. Andy Tennant (Hitch) is attached to direct the adaptation.
