Trailer Review: Black Snake Moan

Can’t decide if Craig Brewer’s follow up to Hustle & Flow looks brilliant or mental or both, or maybe just a bit silly.

Sam Jackson is Lazarus – a washed up bluesman (hence the soundtrack) with a broken marriage – who decides to try and cure Christina Ricci of her nymphomania/sluttishness when he finds her in the road.

If he’d only seen The Opposite of Sex he’d know what he was up against. Good to see Jackson acting his age though, and some of Ricci’s reaction shots are priceless.
