Keeping tabs on the ‘That 70’s Show’ cast I stumbled upon an interesting movie that is in production. The film is called ‘Coxblocker’, and if that remains the title it may end up on a list like this in the future. The horrible title aside, the film is set to star ‘That 70’s Show’ alum Topher Grace as the title character William Cox. He is trying to woo a women, rumored to be non other than rehab heartthrob Lindsay Lohan, although she still hasn’t officially signed on to the film. Cox is thwarted in his effort to win the love of Lohan due to a meddling ex-boyfriend, hence the name ‘Coxblocker’.

Sounds like it could be an interesting film and anything that keeps Lohan out of the clubs is probably a good thing. Grace was under-used in his role in Spiderman this summer and, surprisingly, the once hot actor only is negotiating only one film (The Crusaders) and has one in post production (Kids in America) on his plate at this time. Hopefully his fortunes will change and someone will do something about the name ‘Coxblocker’ before it is met with scorn from Late Night talk show hosts.

Greg Coolidge wrote and directed The Paramount and MTV Films ‘Coxblocker.’ It is scheduled for a release sometime early 2009.
