I hope this gets sorted out and Tomlin gets her chance to show her stuff again. She is one talented lady, a legend.
HBO’s upcoming Lily Tomlin series “12 Miles of Bad Road” is have a bit of trouble starting up again after the writer’s strike.
Six episodes were written before the writer’s strike, and the everything was shut down after those episodes were shot. HBO originally ordered 10 segments.
HBO said it’s now in discussions on if they will continue with four more segments.
As with several new shows at other networks that saw orders interrupted by the strike, it’s unclear now whether the remaining “12 Miles” segments will be produced.
Hour-long comedy revolves around a Dallas real estate agent and her family. Cast also includes Mary Kay Place and Gary Cole.
