I will never forget watching it and trying to figure out what the heck was happening. The large bubble that caught anyone trying to leave was eerie to say the least. I was very young when the show aired in the states, but I was marveled by the "oddness" of it all. I look forward to watching this version for sure. Perhaps, Caviezel is being cast against type, which could prove to be interesting. I love McKellen -- good choice. My mother loved this show.
