Once again I plunge into the dark depths of YouTube to find short horror movies for you to enjoy, and this time, I come up with The Massacre at Woodland Heights, a ten minute romp of horror. But will it be worth your time?
The Woodland Heights Sanatarium is frought with secrets, and those who explore it seeking to learn those secrets are likely to discover they’re secret for a reason.
In all honesty, this movie is godawful. It has little or no overarching narrative, which basically means I have not clue one what these putzes are actually doing at any given time. We jump forward ten years to people who seem to have no connection to the people we saw murdered, ostensibly by ghosts, ten years prior. Plot elements are brought up and tossed aside randomly–why exactly does it matter that the male lead for the last eight minutes or so can’t find a job? Is his job hunt just to kill time?
I understand so little about this movie that, despite the fact that I watched it clear through, I almost feel bad about judging it. I spent ten minutes watching a movie that left me feeling like I’d watched nothing at all. Essentially, this is an absolute waste of ten minutes.
Thus, the Screenhead Ten Scale issues this incomprehensible drivel a one out of ten, because at least it managed not to do anything REALLY idiotic.
