The fine reporters at Hollywood Reporter send word that Plum Pictures has optioned the film rights to Harlan Coben’s best-selling thriller The Innocent.
Released back in 2005, the story follows an ex-con whose attempts to rebuild his life is thwarted when his wife is kidnapped. It will follow his decent into the seedy criminal underworld as he tries to get his wife back.
No release date for the film has been set.
