I am sorry you didn’t win, but this DVD is worth having for your Black History month. It’s takes place before WW II when civil rights wasn’t even an idea.

Jimmy Farmer, Jr. was just fourteen when he started with the debate team; seven years later he formed C.O.R.E. (Congress of Racial Equality)at the age of twenty-one.

I have been impressed with the movie and would love to have a DVD copy as a part of a Black History Collection. I am sure its implications would go far to influence Black boys and Girls in my community, who are exposed to our Black Heritage on an on-going basis but more specifically, during Black History Month.
