Remember the reshoot for X-Men: Wolverine that was reported recently? Well, the reshoots apparently focused on one particular character – Deadpool.
Played by Ryan Reynolds, Deadpool is a mercenary who was initially penned to be a cameo in the project. Now, it appears that his role has been expanded into a full supporting character with most of the new footage shot including Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
In the comics, Deadpool was a part of the Weapon X program who acquires regenerative abilities derived from Wolverine. It is expected his role in the film will remain the same.
