Phantasm2_01bRemember when I was telling you all about the Phantasm webseries that might possibly have been in the works?  Well, this next bit isn’t about confirming or denying same, but what we’ve got here is a bit of news on a possible remake.  Or even possible sequel.

Director Don Coscarelli, an affirmed Master of Horror based on the short-lived Showtime series of the same name, had this to say:

“It’s something we’ve talked about through the years but the timing hasn’t worked out or getting the finances exactly right. I’ve been cooking up a couple of incarnations of things that I can’t talk about now but hopefully in the near future we could get something in the “Phantasm” world happening.”

Frankly, they could use it.  The fourth installation was a joke that was made up of mostly clips from the earlier titles.  We’re all dying to see The Tall Man get his in the end because he’s had THREE MOVIES to run amok and turn America into a gigantic cenotaph.  I’m eagerly awaiting this one, and hope they can find some financing even in these slim times.

If you like Chuck and if you loved the webisode we featured a few weeks back, then you’ll love this new tip we got. A new webisode is available for all you Chuck Bartowski fans out there. In this webisode, you can see what hazards the Nerd Herd welcome everyday. Check it out!

My Own Worst Enemy is a TV series scheduled to air on NBC in fall 2008. It will also air on Global in Canada; the premiere dates in other parts of the world are not yet announced. In preparation for the series’ releases, SpecialOps Media has sent us the second webisode of the series to share to you readers.

The webisode is about Emily discovering the security tapes from Oliver’s room that have been tampered with. Of course, for those who don’t know, My Own Worst Enemy explores the duality of a man who is literally pitted against himself, a la Dr. Henry Jekyll and Mr. Edward Hyde. And it raises the question: who can you trust when you can’t trust yourself?

I’ve been a big fun of Chuck. Some of you might disagree with me on that but I don’t care. Maybe it’s because I can relate to the guy. Not that I have all the government’s secret inside my head, no! But I am a techie guy, and I can relate to the Nerd Herd’s.

Well, if you are like me, then you will surely appreciate this webisode sent to us by SpecialOpsMedia. Its a webisode of the Emmy Award winning action-comedy television program. Or, if you want to take a quick look inside Buy More, then click here.
