Former “Idol” contestant Katharine McPhee and Wes Bentley are starring together in an independent psychological drama “The Storyteller.” Anita Briem also is casted in the film.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Bentley plays a writer who goes on a downward spiral when his father dies, causing his assistant (McPhee) to start investigating whether his muse as well as narrator for his stories (Briem) is a figment of his imagination.
Filming should start in August.
