Jason Patric has joined Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Chris Evans, Zoe Saldana and Idris Elbat  to star in the movie The Losers, an adaptation of the DC-Vertigo comic book.
Patric will play the bad guy, Max. A CIA agent who has gone off the rails and sets up the black ops team to be killed. It is his first true villain role and first comic book movie. We are all familiar with Patric usual dark, edgy, adult-themed films, but this time it’s all comic book.

Joining the cast of upcoming comic book adaptation The Losers is Spanish actor Oscar Jaenada (The Limits of Control) for Warner Bros.
He will play the role of Cougar and will join the ranks of Chris Evans, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Idris Elba, Columbus Short and Zoe Saldana.
The series followed a band of black ops commandos who are set up to be killed by their own government. They barely survive and set out to get even.

From Mania comes word that Chris Evans (Fantastic Four, Push) is in talks to join the film adaptation of DC Comics series The Losers.
The series focused on an elite group of Special Forces operatives who are betrayed by their handlers and left for dead. They survive the setup and embark on a series of missions to clear their names and bring down the government agency that sold them out.
Evans will play Jensen, the fast-talking tech wiz of the team. Other cast members include Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Idris Elba and Zoe Saldana.
Shooting starts later this year.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan of Watchmen fame is in negotiations to board the comic book adaptation The Losers for Warner Bros and Silver Pictures.
Based on the comic book series by Vertigo, the film will follow a special forces team betrayed by their handler and left for dead. They regroup for revenge and the opportunity to remove their names from a secret CIA death list and to conduct covert operations against the CIA and its interests.
Morgan will play Clay, the group’s leader, whose signature look is black suit without a tie. He is currently shooting The Resident, so schedules are being worked out right now.
