From Paris with Love may seem like a little film but wait. The movie stars John Travolta and Jonathan Rhys Meyers as unlikely partners. Travolta plays a crazy American spy looking to stop a terrorist attack in Paris, and Rhys Meyers plays a young employee in the office of the US Ambassador who meets up with him.  The movie is directed by French filmmaker Pierre Morel, who brought us Taken.  So the movie isn’t all that little; but it has taken a couple of years for the movie to hit the theaters February 2010. I like the poster because it’s simple, the predominately black and white with a touch of red for the word “love.”

Oliver Stone’s W. trailer and teaser poster have me hook, line and sinker.  I want to see this movie. Not because I want to know the “dirt” on Bush, but because Stone has drawn me into the story.  Particularly, with this poster, there is truth here. What is a politician these days but a puppet.

Punisher: War Zone teaser posters seem to be showing up at strategic websites to promote Gale Anne Hurd’s film starring Ray Stevenson.

Frankly, I like the current posters compared to the early one of darken skull figure; it seemed more like a horror movie than a marvel comic character story.

Stories like this need to be told. The Perfect Game takes place in 1957. A barefooted, rag-tag team of boys from poverty-stricken Monterrey, Mexico defy extraordinary odds to become the first foreign team to win Little League World Series – doing so in a perfect game, the only one in championship history.   Based on a true story, The Perfect Game tells the tale of how their miracle changed not only their lives, but an entire city’s destiny.

The cast consists of Cheech Martin, Louis Gossett Jr. and is directed by William Dear.

This is the final teaser poster for Disaster Movie — this is by far my favorite!

This poster is not my favorite of posters.  Perhaps, some of you like it.

The movie is about a man waging his one-man war on the world of organized crime, ruthless vigilante-hero Frank Castle sets his sights on overeager mob boss Billy Russoti. After Russoti is left horribly disfigured by Castle, he sets out for vengeance under his new alias:  Jigsaw.  With the “Punisher Task Force” hot on his trail and the FBI unable to take Jigsaw in, Frank must stand up to the formidable army that Jigsaw has recruited before more of his evil deeds go unpunished.

Starring Ray Stevenson (HBO’s “Rome”) as Punisher, PUNISHER: WAR ZONE is directed by Lexi Alexander.

 Check out the trailer.

I have no an idea of how movie folks react to teaser posters to promote movies. Does it encourage people to talk or blog about the film? Obviously, I am blogging about the movie. What do you think? With a film like “Disaster Movie,” teaser posters these comedies depend upon the hype.  This particular poster is a funny take on “Indy.”

Take a look at the the second teaser poster for DISASTER MOVIE, the latest genre spoof from filmmakers Jason Friedbeg and Aaron Seltzer, the team that parodied the teen-horror genre in Scary Movie, clichéd romantic comedies in Date Movie, overblown blockbusters in Epic Movie, and the ultra-macho 300 in Meet The Spartans. DISASTER MOVIE stars Matt Lanter, Vanessa Minnillo, Carmen Electra, Kim Kardashian, G-Thang, Nicole Parker, Crista Flanagan and Ike Barinholtz.
