Billy Ray is set to write and direct an adaptation of Friz Leiber’s 1952 novel “Conjured Wife.”

The novel is a supernatural thriller in which a man uncover that his recent career successes are the result of his wife’s experimenting in witchcraft.

Ray last directed the espionage thriller Breach and made his directing debut on Shattered Glass. Ray also scripted Motorcade, a DreamWorks thriller about terrorists attacking the president’s motorcade in Los Angeles. Len Wiseman will direct.

Season of the Witch reteams Nicolas Cage and director Dominic Sena for a supernatural thriller.

The story follows the journey of 14th century knights transporting a girl likely to be a witch who caused the spreading of the Black Plague.

Filming is schedule to start in Austria and Hungry this November.

Cage is busy these days with his current filming of Kick-Ass.

The earlier project that Cage and Sena worked on was Gone in Sixty Seconds.
