carell_steveI have heard everything on loglines.  This one is really below the belt. Steve Carell will star in and produce testosterone comedy Hi-T for Warner Bros.

Perhaps, the studio is taking this concept on because it’s so ridiculous like 40 Year Old Virgin but proved out at the box office. Hi-T revolves around a man dealing with uncontrollable mood swings after an injury forces him to take testosterone injections.

I believe Hemingway covered this topic well in The Sun Also Rises.  Hemingway didn’t call it mood swings. He called it “he had it real bad.”

Steve Carell is set to play the lead role in the new film “The Adventures of Brigadier Gerard”. The story is about a soldier who was described as the bravest soldier in Napoleon’s army  – and also the dumbest. Carell has definitely made a living in characters such as this – Get Smart has that similar twist.

Carell already has tons of projects lined up. He’s currently set to star alongside Tina Fey for “Date Night” along with a sequel to “Get Smart.” He’s also just set up a production company that will develop comedies for Warner Bros.
