On display at a party hosted by Punisher: War Zone producer Gale Anne Hurd were two new posters for the film. The party took place on June 24 at Vertical Wine Bistro in Pasadena, California. The images depict a silhouetted – and stylish, one has to note – Punisher in full frontal view with his guns and whatnot. I personally love the look of the movie.
The film has the Punisher taking on mob boss Billy Russoti, who after having been disfigured by Frank Castle – the Punisher – sets out for vengeance under his new alias “Jigsaw”. War Zone stars Dominic West, Doug Hutchinson, Colin Salmon, Wayne Knight and others; it is set for release on December 5.
This poster is not my favorite of posters. Perhaps, some of you like it.
The movie is about a man waging his one-man war on the world of organized crime, ruthless vigilante-hero Frank Castle sets his sights on overeager mob boss Billy Russoti. After Russoti is left horribly disfigured by Castle, he sets out for vengeance under his new alias: Jigsaw. With the “Punisher Task Force” hot on his trail and the FBI unable to take Jigsaw in, Frank must stand up to the formidable army that Jigsaw has recruited before more of his evil deeds go unpunished.
