Word comes from Screen Daily that Woody Allen is set to make a new film in Paris. This comes as a result of this three-picture deal with Spanish company Mediapro which was signed in the wake of their great success with Allen’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona last year.
The Paris project will actually be his second film out of the three. The first of the three is an untitled London project that it set to shoot later this year with Naomi Watts, Josh Brolin, Anthony Hopkins and Antonio Banderas attached to star. It is set for release next summer.
As for the Paris project, Mediapro noted that Allen is yet to turn in the script and actors haven’t been cast yet. It will be a romantic film, though, and will start shooting sometime next year.

According to a spokesman talking to The Hollywood Reporter, location shooting for From Paris With Love has been postponed.
The film was shooting on location in Paris, set for an 11-week shoot in and around the capital, when ten stunt and special effects vehicles left in a stadium parking lot were torched by arsonists. Writer-producer Luc Besson and his company have packed things up and left the region.
The thriller is about a young embassy worker and a US secret agent on a high-risk mission in Paris.
It is not known how they will handle the sudden change.

From Paris With Love will star John Travolta and Jonathan Rhys Meyers in the Pierre Morel thriller.
The film will be shot in a suburb of the French capital for another eleven weeks.
The screenplay is by Luc Besson and Adi Hasak. The story centers on a young embassy worker and an American secret agent who cross paths while working on a high-risk mission in Paris.
