In today’s uncertain world with fragile political situations and whatnot, one thing is certain: Hollywood sequels! And surprising no one is Jerry Bruckheimer and Nicolas Cage, who jointly announced that a third National Treasure film is in the works.
This news comes from the duo as they both attended the Walt Disney Showcase yesterday. It was noted that most of the original cast will be back and that director Jon Turteltaub will be back behind the camera.
While no plot details were announced, the first sequel hinted at a possible storyline regarding something mysterious in the President’s diary. It is still unconfirmed though.
