In the forefront, U.S. recording artist Alicia Keys may sing the title song for the next James Bond movie, “Quantum of Solace.”

Reportedly, Beyonce, Leona Lewis, Duran Duran, Jack White, Duffy and Annie Lennox are some of the other performers who submitted songs for consideration to producers of the film, which stars British actor Daniel Craig as the maverick-turned-suave secret agent.

Official announcement hasn’t occurred yet but on the news lines it’s being reported that “Alicia is the winner.”

James Bond hits the theaters November 2008.
