"The Girl From Monaco"
In “La Fille de Monaco” (The Girl From Monaco), Bertrand Beauvois (Fabrice Luchini) is a successful attorney who is hired to represent Edith Lasalle (Stéphane Audran), who’s been charged with killing a man with ties to the Russian mafia. Edith’s son, Louis (Gilles Cohen), has been told that Russian bullies may try to silence his mother and her legal team, so he employs a private security team to protect them.
Bertrand doesn’t see the need for Christophe’s protection, but when the lawyer can’t seem to brush aside a former girlfriend, the bodyguard proves to be invaluable. Bertrand and Christophe begin to strike up a friendship, but when Audrey Varela (Louise Bourgoin), a beautiful woman half Bertrand’s age, begins throwing herself at him, Christophe has a hard time persuading his client that something doesn’t feel right.
