The latest game to fall in the laps of Hollywood is the well-received PS3 action title Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune.
Set to become an action-adventure film in the hands of Kyle Ward, who is also handling another game franchise Kane & Lynch, the film will follow the first game that told the story of a descendent of explorer Sir Francis Drake who believes he has learned the whereabouts of El Dorado, the fabled South American golden city.
In true adventure fashion, a rival hunter joins the fray, which is made worse by mutated creatures who are the descendants of Spaniards and Nazis (what?).
The project is being produced by Avi Arad, Ari Arad, Charles Roven and Alex Gartner.

The bald assassin strikes again, as Fox has hired Kyle Ward (Kane & Lynch) to pen a sequel to the film adaptation of Hitman that was released back in 2007.
