I was, and still am, a big fan of Street Fighter. I loved that game and I think, it set the bar with fighting games. Forget Tekken, forget Mortal Kombat, for me, its Street Fighter (I know a lot of you guys will contradict me on that). So when the Japanese poster for “Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li” came out, I was definitely ecstatic! The poster, shown below, gives us a glimpse of Kristen Kreuk as the girl with the Lightning Kick (Its even sweeter with Kristen Kreuk – Im a fan).
The film co-stars Neal McDonough as M. Bison, Chris Klein as Charlie, Michael Clarke Duncan as Balrog, and Black Eyed Peas singer Taboo as Vega. What’s disappointing for me here though is that in the movie production’s blog, its confirmed there that Ryu and Ken will not appear in the movie, as it is more of a Chun-Li origin story, but they may appear in future sequels. Bummer!
