Donning a more serious role this time, Harold & Kumar star Kal Penn has put his acing career on hold to join Obama’s administration staff.
He has taken the job of associate director in the office of public liaison and will be working to forge alliances with the Asian-American and Pacific Islander communities and the arts community.
Penn said that he has no plans to run for public office and has not ruled out returning to the world of acting once his job is finished.
