Three very talented actors have joined What’s Wrong with Virginia? Ed Harris, Emma Roberts and Amy Madigan are set to work with director and writer Dustin Lance Black, Oscar-winning screenwriter of Milk.
Harris is taking on the role that was attached to Liam Neeson. The role is a sheriff whose state senate bid lies on the line when his daughter begins to date the son of a psychologically disturbed woman with whomthe sheriff has been involved with a two-decade affair. Jennifer Connelly also stars in the title role.
Shooting of the film is schedule to start September 28, 2009 in Holland, Michigan.
Focus Features sent me all the images and character descriptions for the movie 9 about a post-apocalyptic world. The characters are called Stitchpunks and here is the seventh one. A brave and self-sufficient warrior, 7, voiced by Oscar winner Jennifer Connelly, is the group’s sole female. A fiercely independent adventuress she has been out patrolling the wasteland. To survive, she has adapted, finding the bones of a deceased bird and crafting her signature skull helmet.

Having explored the murky underworld of Paris, Liam Neeson is going the drama route along with Jenniffer Connelly as they are now slated to appear in What’s Wrong With Virginia for Tick Tock Studios.
Written by Oscar-winning scribe Dustin Lance Black (Milk), the film will see Connelly play a charming, but psychologically disturbed mother of a 16-year old son. Her 20-year clandestine love with a sheriff (played by Neeson), who is running for the state senate, is tested when her son begins a relationship with his daughter.
The project marks Black’s directorial debut. Shooting starts later this summer in Michigan.

An all-star ensemble cast including Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Connelly, Kevin Connelly, Bradley Cooper, Drew Barrymore, Ginnifer Goodwin, Scarlett Johansson and Justin Long headline the romantic comedy He’s Just Not That Into You.
The film premiered this week in LA and is based on the bestselling book of the same name, which was written by former “Sex and the City” writers Greg Behrendt and Liz Tucillo.
The story is about modern day relationships and how men and women often misconstrue the intentions of the opposite sex.
He’s Just Not That Into You is directed by Ken Kwapis (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) and produced by Flower Films (50 First Dates, Charlie’s Angels).

Update: It has been confirmed that the production team isn’t reshooting, but are simply taking “special effects pick up shots.”
Original: IESB reports that the production team for The Day the Earth Stood Still is back at work in Downey, California conducting reshoots. Their source suggests that the reshoots are “rather extensive” and will go on for a full week. It is being speculated that these reshoots are being done for the recently announced IMAX release of the film.
The site also reports that Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly have been called back to redo their scenes as well.
The Day the Earth Stood Still is set for release on December 12.
