Hulk Producer Wants Sequel

EdwardNortonHulk The fate of the Incredible Hulk sequel is still up in the air, but if producer Gale Anne Hurd has her way, we’ll be seeing the movie soon. In an interview with MTV, Hurd noted that Edward Norton has been signed on for multiple movies and that the sequel is “going to depend on the screenplay and where his character goes.”

However, Hurd revealed that we’re most likely to see him in The Avengers first before a Hulk sequel.

“Next, he’s likely to appear in an ‘Avengers’ movie, but that’s completely up to Marvel," she explained. "It’s wonderful that Marvel now controls so many of their own characters, and they can create a Marvel universe in film and populate it with so many of their characters who naturally exist together. I think an ‘Avengers’ film is a very exciting prospect."

The interview has more on the sequel, including the expected villain.

It first I didn’t like this clip, but it gets better and funnier. It is funny. The expletives I could do without.  Have a good laugh.

HulkLeader01 It seems villains are in fashion today, as MTV talks with Hulk director Louis Leterrier about possible villains for the inevitable sequel. While he has his own favorites, Leterrier told MTV that it will be up to the fans to decide.

“I think that if we get to ‘Hulk 2′ I would go to Comic-Con and ask the crowd of people that actually love the movies, which one would you prefer to see, Samson or the Leader?” Leterrier said.

He apparently would prefer to see The Leader and the Hulk go at it simply because it would be “different.” True that. He, however, asserts that it will truly be up to fans.

“I’m 34 soon to be 35. Kevin [Feige] is 35. We’re the same age as the fans. It’s not like we don’t know what we’re doing [but] they are the reason why these movies successful – why we make these movies,” he proclaimed. “I would listen to the fans.”

Hulk 2 is yet to be announced.
