From E! Online comes word that Gossip Girl star Jessica Szohr has joined the upcoming horror remake Piranha 3D.
In development at Dimension Films, the movie will see Szohr play an young townie caught up in the excitement of co-eds who have descended upon the town for spring break. What they don’t know is that the town’s lake has been overrun by man-eating razor-toothed fish, which means awesome on-screen deaths.
The remake also stars Elisabeth Shue, Ving Rhames, Adam Scott, Richard Dreyfuss, Dina Meyer, Brooklyn Proulx, Quinn Lord and Riley Steele.
Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes) helms the pic. Shoting starts in Arizona later this month.
