Ever since Twilight hit the big screen production companies are lining up shows and movies about vampires. Daybreakers, which I think is a very unique movie, is one and “True Blood,” a dark, twisted cable show, is another one about vampires in the south. “True Blood’ is a little racy for most television, but the show has a real bite.

Giveaway details below!

The show is amazingly funny, off-beat and downright ridiculous. Dee has a heart attack. Mac and Charlie die. Everybody sings and somebody will…poops. And we finally learn the heritage of Paddy’s Pub as we flash back to 1776 and “The Gang Cracks the Liberty Bell.”

Check out the Sunny Video at the official site.

Post your name to enter the giveaway and I will pick the winner Wednesday, September 10. The prize pack includes: (4) “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” T-Shirts and (1) Season 4 Premiere Poster. So it looks like there will be four winners and the first name drawn wins the poster too. Good Luck!

Hurt Joins Close

William Hurt signed on “Damages” and will work with his “The Big Chill” co-star Glenn Close. What a caliber of actors on FOX Cable TV. This is Hurt’s first time he’s taken on a role in a TV series.

Hurt starts next week in New York. He plays a client of Close’s character – Patty Hewes – “tough as nails attorney.”  Both characters have a past that is not just professional – whoa.

I am sure with Hurt added to the cast the show’s ratings will increase.   As I recall in “The Big Chill” Hurt and Close did not have that many scenes together.  So, this should prove to be a fruitful adventure.
