I just love watching Michael Sheen in this scene. He is so deliciously evil that I can taste it.
I didn’t know vampires could move so fast!  Watch out Bella!!!

Here is the New Moon film clip of the transformation of Jacob into a wolf looks awesome!  I suspect we will see more clips before the movie opens November 20, 2009.  By the way, New Moon pre-ticket sales for opening day has sold out at one of the major movie theaters  in my city.  It looks like the movie is going to be a big money maker.

Yahoo posted this clip from Pirate Radio called “F-Word”.  Bill Nighy and Phillp Seymour Hoffman play brilliantly off each other in this scene. This is going to be a fun movie.

Nice piece on Iron Man 2 about making the movie and the story line.  The clip is a little over seven minutes long but worth the watch. Latin Review brought this clip to my attention – thanks.

imaginariumofdrparnassusUKYahoo Movies has an exclusive clip about the making of The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus that intentionally or not intentionally coincides with the release of the new poster

The poster says a lot more about the movie, which concerns a sixteen year old daughter of Dr. Parnassus who promised the devil his daughter for something super special –  immortality? I am not sure yet what that was.

Anyway, the clip, which you can get to by clicking on the new poster, explains in detail the story of Dr. Parnassus.  Enjoy!

This film clip is intense and freaky, which shows us what the movie is going to be like. Lars von Trier is one crazy dude, but a filmmaker who knows how to create oddity and intensity.

You’re about to get your first look at upcoming release Splice, being released to theaters worldwide starting this January.  This clip’s been only just starting to make the rounds, so we’re well ahead of the curve on this one.

Splice, featuring Adrien Brody and the spectacular Sarah Polley, is all about the sheer number of things that can go wrong in genetic engineering, especially when you don’t particularly care about things like ethics, laws, and the safety of humankind.

The clip, of course, looks awesome–that’s why I’m putting it up for you in the first place–and this one should definitely do some serious business when it acctually gets its worldwide release.   You can see the clip below, and hopefully, it won’t be terribly wrong after its initial release (the IMDB puts the first country to get this as the Netherlands) before it arrives in the United States.

Looks rather creepy but for a great cause — saving lives.

Whip It looks like a fun movie, and boy, we sure could use an ensemble movie that’s a blast to watch. Ellen Page is in every clip and is the main focus in all the trailers I’ve seen.  The story centers on her character Bliss, a beauty pageant throw back who discovers her aspirations to be a roller derby queen.

Drew Barrymore’s directorial debut shines brilliantly because just watching these clips it’s easy to see how comfortable the actors are in front of the camera. Marcia Gay Harden is great as the backstage mom of beauty pageants.  Watch her in the last clip, she’s incredible.

Do you recognize the father in the first clip?  That’s Daniel Stern from the original Home Alone movie.  Now, we know what happened to him after serving time in the penitentiary after his fugitive days on Home Alone. Whip It opens October 2, 2009.

Cute movie, but I am having a hard time understanding the central point of the story. Okay, an inventor succeeds in creating food from clouds.  Perhaps, I should read the book.
