On behalf of Lionsgate, Screenhead is pleased to present the final poster for The Spirit, in theaters Christmas Day!
The production of this movie has been the talk of the Internet. Now the opening day is finally here. I am looking forward to finding out how the movie does at the box office.
The cast is dynamic with newcomer, Gabriel Macht, three beauties, Scarlett Johansson, Eva Mendez, Jamie King and ever strong Samuel L. Jackson. The movie is a whole new look with a new feel as my city screams.
While Nicolas Cage is out blabbering about a possible Ghost Rider sequel, actress Eva Mendes believes that the film “had its moment” and that it doesn’t need a sequel.
Speaking to MTV, Mendes additionally said that while she hasn’t yet been approached to do a possible sequel, she might do it: “… but look, hey, if it’s Nicolas Cage again – I’ll do anything with him.”
Mendes recently worked on another project with Cage – Bad Lieutenant: Port of New Orleans. She plays Cage’s love interest in the film, adding that “there’s actually a very sweet love story between Nic’s character and mine, in a very warped and dark, dark world.”

First character poster of EVA MENDES AS SAND SAREF from the upcoming film adaptation of Will Eisner’s famed comic book series, THE SPIRIT, is here. SAND SAREF is a jewel thief with dangerous curves – The Spirit’s love of his life turned bad. Will he save her or will she kill him? I can’t wait to find out.
”Queen of the South,” a Jonathan Jakubowicz’s drug-trafficking drama, is set with the major roles filled: Eva Mendes, Josh Hartnett and Ben Kingsley.
The film is based on Spanish writer Arturo Perez-Reverte’s novel about a Mexican woman turned Spanish drug lord (Mendes) out to avenge her boyfriend’s murder. Hartnett plays a Marine who gets involved in her business, and Kingsley plays a Russian businessman, according to Hollywood Reporter.
