Director Eli Roth has a lot of hard work in front of him, as he has announced his intention of shooting his next two films back-to-back.

The first will be an unannounced big budget sci-fi action film.

"I don’t want to give away the title yet, because I have to make sure I own it 100%, but it’s going to be something that is really fun with lots of mass destruction,” he said. “I wanted to do something along the lines of Transformers or Cloverfield that was a little more science fiction-based.”

Following that, he wants to shoot a full-length film based off the fake Grindhouse trailer “Thanksgiving”.

“The plan is this: I want to do a huge budget movie, but tack on three weeks to the end of it and shoot Thanksgiving,” he revealed. “I want to do an $80 million dollar movie, and then schedule three weeks at the end to quickly shoot a $5 million dollar movie.”

It was reported earlier that RZA and Eli Roth are teaming up for a martial arts film called The Man With the Iron Fist, which Quentin Tarantino may involve himself in.

The plan has changed a bit, however, as CHUD got in contact with Roth who revealed that RZA is not only writing the film, but that he is also directing it.

"This movie will have everything martial arts fans could want, combined with RZA’s superb musical talent," said Roth. He added that it "ain’t no PG-13 [affair]" and that there will be blood.

What about Tarantino? Well, it appears that RZA has been "studying directing with [him] for years… and he’s really ready to get behind the camera."
