Sony Pictures has signed on David Koepp to work on two projects in the studio – Billionaire’s Vinegar and Shelley’s Heart.
The first movie is loosely based on the Benjamin Walace book about a scandal that erupted when an auctioned cache of wine purported to have been culled from the stocks of Thomas Jefferson were deemed fake by some.
The latter follows two friends who become bitter rivals for the presidential election, which is won by computer fraud. It is being adapted from Charles McCarry’s novel into a political drama.
Okay, so you know I don’t like remakes, well…Director Tony Scott and screenwriter David Koepp have teamed up, as most movie enthusiasts know, to remake The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3. Denzel Washington and John Travolta star. Washington is the good guy and Travolta is the bad guy. With this formula, I have to say there are exceptions to the rule — this is one exception.
I came across a couple of production stills of Washington wielding a gun. Take a look. I already like his character. What a wonderful actor.
Dreamwork’s Ghost Town directed by screenwriter David Koepp, Indiana Jones 4, stars Téa Leoni who is such a natural and loveable actress. This is her second “supernatural” film. The other she starred with Nicolas Cage called The Family Man. Enjoy the trailer — good, fun story.
