Disney’s images of Rapunzel are breathtaking. I am stunned and dazzled. The concept art conveys an enchanting story. I’d love to see the movie right now. Director Glen Keane wanted this to be an animated movie that looked and felt like a traditional hand-drawn Disney Classic in 3D, so he choose the movie’s visual style to be based on the painting “The Swing” by the French Rococo artist Jean-Honoré Fragonard.
I just uploaded the supposively concept art for Avatar. Now according to io9, the artist who rendered them emailed them saying they are fake. That the work is just his and were not for Avatar even though he worked on Avatar. It sounds sort of fishy to me, but you decide. You can check out the details at io9.
Concept art from James Cameron’s Avatar is floating around the Internet. We get to see the conceptual aspect of what a Na’vi might look like in the film. No telling until we see the first production stills or teaser trailer. The top concept offers an idea of the physique of the alien species compared to the colored versions that highlight some other attributes including glowing hair and a glowing tail.
Then, it appears she might be holding some sort of rod or spear with an apparatus at the end of it.
