Bridges added to circle

18128a The indie thriller Columbus Circle has added Beau Bridges to its cast, reports THR.

As reported earlier, the film will focus on a reclusive heiress who hasn’t left her upscale Manhattan apartment building in nearly two decades. She is only friends with her building’s concierge, with whom she communicates via notes, and Dr. Raymond Fontaine, a longtime friend and her sole confidant.

However, she gets a dose of reality when there’s a homicide next door and a new couple move in.

Members of the cast include Selma Blair, Kevin Pollak, Giovanni Ribisi, Amy Smart and Jason Lee. Bridges will play the role of Dr. Raymond.

The film is being helmed by George Gallo who also co-wrote the script with Pollak. Shooting is currently underway in Los Angeles.

selma_blair THR reports that George Gallo is set to direct the indie thriller Columbus Circle from a script he co-wrote with Kevin Pollak, who is also acting in the film.

The film’s cast comprises of Selma Blair, Amy Smart, Jason Lee and Giovanni Ribisi. It will focus on a reclusive heiress (Blair) in an upscale Manhattan apartment building where a detective (Ribisi) shows up to investigate a homicide next door after which a new couple (Smart and Lee) move in. Pollak is set to play the building’s concierge and one of the heiress’ few friends.

Filming will begin this month in Los Angeles. This film marks Pollak’s first stab at writing; he is known for parts in films like The Usual Suspects and A Few Good Men.
