Awesome news came up this late evening about the fifth installment of Terminator. Christian Bale has signed on in the role of John Connor for all three roles. I guess that means there will be a sixth Terminator as well. The next Terminatoris carefully placed for a 2011 release. I got the impression that McG will direct again.
Reported by Variety, first plan was to wait until the release of Terminator Salvation next summer before making the producers’ mind up on whether to proceed with the next chapter, but the positive studio, fan and media reaction to footage from the current movie has encouraged them to move forward ahead of schedule.

Two strong actors playing vital roles in the adaptation of Brian Burrough’s book “Public Enemies: America’s Greatest Crime Wave and the Birth of the FBI, 1933-43.”
Michael Mann’s film focuses on the government’s challenge to stop John Dillinger and his gang. Johnny Depp is playing Dillinger to Christian Bale’s famed FBI agent Melvin Purvis.
The film comes to the screen July 2009.

The Dark Knight brought the highest number of dollars to any midnight showing, $18.5 million. The Batman movie even beat out Revenge of the Sith, which brought in $16.9 million on its midnight showing.
The cape crusader is in for a huge money making weekend. Christian Bale is fantastic as Batman, and I always enjoy Michael Caine. However, watching Heath Ledger in his posthumous performance as The Joker will be hard for me. Such a talented actor who is sorely missed.
