Chris Noth, who know as Mr. Big, has signed the dotted line in a seven-figure deal to commit to Sex and the City 2, the sequel directed by Michael Patrick King for New Line Cinema.
Shooting begins in early September, and Warner Bros. has set a May 28, 2010, release date.

Chris Noth, known for his role in “Sex and the City,” plans to star with Renee Zellweger in “My One and Only,” the Richard Loncraine-directed comedy based on a childhood adventure of actor George Hamilton.
Filming starts next month.
According to Variety, Zellweger plays Anne Deveraux, a glamorous dreamer who travels from city to city looking for a wealthy man to fund a new life for her and her sons. Noth plays a retired military doctor who might just fit the bill.
Scripted by Charlie Peters, the film is based on a true story that Hamilton shared with Merv Griffin about his early life on the road with his mother and brother.
