Cartoon Network has recently teamed up with Worldwide Biggies to bring Barry Yourgrau’s nonfiction childrens horror series NASTYbook to a television set near you.

Taken from Yahoo!, below is a breakdown about what the series is all about:

“NASTYbook” is described as a world populated by a horrifying, albeit colorful, cast of characters, including an Internet-trolling witch and an alien exchange student. It’s said to be in the vein of “The Twilight Zone” but geared toward a young audience. A scary and mysterious figure serves as host and comes in and out of the characters’ lives in each story.

Along with a TV movie Worldwide Biggies will also produce a range of web content related to said series. Popular content produced by Worldwide Biggies includes programs such as Nickelodeon’s The Naked Brother’s Band and Spike’s Video Game Awards.
