Trio join father of invention

heather-graham-picture-1 The Hollywood Reporter reports that Heather Graham, Johnny Knoxville, Craig Robinson and Camilla Belle have joined the indie ensemble comedy Father of Invention.

The film will follow a humble inventor-turned-egomaniacal billionaire (Kevin Spacey) who spends eight years in prison when one of his inventions goes wrong. Upon release, he tries to rebuild his reputation, but finds that easier than fixing his relationship with his family.

It has been written by Jonathan Krane and Nichole Beatty. Trent Cooper is directing.

Willis To Direct

Three Stories About Joan makes the directorial debut of Bruce Willis, a intellectual drama, which Willis also plans to take on a supporting role.

He nabbed 10,000 B.C. star Camilla Belle to play the leading character. Also joining the film is Keiran Culkin.

Filming stars in October.

“10,000 B.C.” star Camilla Belle returns to her Brazilian roots to shoot the Portuguese-language drama “Adrift,” set in the 1980s. The story focuses on a 14-year-old girl who grapples with her life when she learns of the infidelities of her father (Vincent Cassel) while undergoing her own sexual awakening.Belle will play a young woman having an affair with the father.The movie will be released in Brazil in 2009.
