633592315347023193 Superman’s last venture on the big screen wasn’t exactly successful, but hasn’t killed his Hollywood career either. There have been many rumors of a Superman Returns sequel being made, but nothing has so far come to fruition.

So, we go straight to the horse’s mouth, right? Omelete recently had a chat with Brandon Routh, the latest actor to play the iconic hero, on the set of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, asking him if he had heard anything about a sequel.

Not only does he not know about any sequels, Routh revealed that his contract to play the Man of Steel has expired.

Routh also admitted that Superman Returns was lacking action and felt disappointed that the franchise didn’t get a second chance after it failed in the box office.
