Weekend Box Office

Although this is an estimate, I am surprised that Four Christmases came in first. For some reason, I thought the film didn’t have appeal. I guess I was mistaken. I am happy to see Bolt at number two spot on its second leg with Twilight not too far behind.

Other notable contenders like Australia, Transporter 3 and Milk are in the top ten but start at fifth position.

The trailer for Bolt starring Miley Cyrus and John Travolta is looking good. What a great combination of stars. The hamster is so adorable! The movie opens this month and I will be there in the movie theaters the first weekend it opens. I smell a sequel.

I can’t believe it Miley Cyrus and John Travolta singing a duet!!!! Bolt opens this month with John Travolta as the voice for Bolt and Miley Cyrus the voice for Penny.

Bolt Teaser Poster

boltteaserposterreal /Film carries word that the teaser trailer for Bolt might be attached to Pixar’s WALL-E, which hits screens nationwide next week. Keeping that in mind, the site reports that Disney has just released the first theatrical teaser poster for the movie. The site notes that this implies the inclusion of a teaser trailer before WALL-E.

The project has gone through a re-envisioning, with the first imagining being quite unique and cartoonish to be exact. It was racy and had far more memorable characters than the new tamed down, 3D version. Bolt also stars Miley Cyrus, if that’s any indication of things to come.
